How can you create a killer blog that will keep people coming back, and drive tons of traffic?

I built my own blog application, so it really isn’t like the other standard ones out there. I guess what I want to know is what traits of a blog site are crucial for a successful blog. Can you give examples of people who’ve made blogs and have been able to attract lots of traffic? What are their secret???

Contents about the visitor and NOT about yourself!
Nobody cares about you but you.
So is the same for those who visit your blog: the visitor wants you to talk about them!!!
